About Course

The Grade 3 course enhances literacy and communication skills while laying a solid foundation in multiplication, division, fractions, and data analysis. Students develop scientific inquiry, cultural awareness, and digital literacy.

Objectives:

  • To strengthen students’ ability to read, comprehend, and analyse a variety of literary and informational texts.
  • To develop writing skills, including opinion, informative, and narrative writing.
  • To improve speaking and listening skills for effective communication.
  • To deepen understanding of grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation.
  • To develop essential mathematical skills like multiplication, division, etc.
  • To equip students with the understanding of place value, fractions, geometry and measurements.
  • To provide students with a foundational understanding of physical science, biology, and environmental science.
  • To help students gain a deeper understanding of community, culture, and history.
  • To introduce key concepts related to geography and personal finance.
  • To equip students with foundational skills in computer science, typing, digital literacy, and the use of digital tools.

  • Understand the concept of fractions and represent fractions using visual models and numerical expressions.
